  Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee   Services for Lucille Johnson Brashear, 85, will be held Monday, December 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Smith’s Chapel Methodist Church in East View, Kentucky near Elizabethtown, KY.  Interment will follow at in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends in McKenzie on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and at Smith Chapel Methodist Church Monday, December 28, 2015 from 12:30 pm until service time.  Mrs. Brashear, a retired teacher for the Northwest Tennessee Headstart, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at McKenzie HealthCare Center.  She was born on December 8, 1930 in East View, Kentucky to Ray and Lena Mae Cundiff Johnson. She was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church, an Eastern Star, and was a former Jaycette.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, her Husband Ed L. Brashear who died January 14, 1991, a sister Ethleen Van Meter, and a brother Raymond Johnson.Survivors include two daughters Angelina (George) Collier of Memphis, Celia Anne (John) Hopper of New Baltimore, MI, a son Anthony E. Brashear of McKenzie, a sister Josephine Powell of East View, KY.  Memorials may be made to the National Alzheimer’s Association.
