Willlard Paul Featherston

   Funeral Services for Willard Paul Featherston will be held Friday, January 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother Eric Kelleher will officiate. Interment will be at Blooming Grove Cemetery, McKenzie. Visitation will be Thursday, December 31, 2015, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday 10:00 a.m. until service time.   Mr. Featherston, 95, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his residence. He was a retired Insurance Agent for Life of Georgia and farmer. He was a member of Blooming Grove Methodist Church, a World War II Navy Veteran, member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was born November 13, 1920 in Carroll Co, TN to Claude Cleveland and Artie Gill Matheny Featherston. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 27 years Virginia Ann Morrow Featherston, a son Danny Lynn Featherston, two sisters Wilma Blackburn and Mildred Winston, two brothers Raymond Featherston and Lloyd Dudley Featherston and a grandson Thomas Adrian Featherston.   He is survived by a daughter Linda Ann (Chuck) Goforth of Frisco, TX, two sons Tommy (Pat) Featherston of McKenzie and Timothy(Judy) of Clermont,FL, five grandchildren Leslie Ann Johnson, Tee-Jay Moore Glidwell, Courtney Goforth, Kelsey Goforth and Andy Goforth and three great-grandchildren Haiden Lee Glidwell, Harlie Rae Glidwell and Emma Goforth.
