Elber Ruth Ellis

         Funeral Services for Elber Ruth Ellis will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedar Avenue Chapel of Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Brothers Dennis Trull and Tim Coleman will officiate. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery, McKenzie. Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2015, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.   Mrs. Ellis, 78, died Thursday, December 31, 2015 at her residence. She was a retired factory worker for Wilker Brothers, McKenzie and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was born January 28, 1937 Carroll Co, TN to William Jesse and Ruby Mae Hollingsworth Bush. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William “Bill” D. Ellis, three sisters Roverta Bush, Annie Toombs and Martha Barton and four brothers Vernard Bush, Floyd Bush, Neal Vaughn, and Flossie Bush, and her daughter-in-law Janie Ellis.   She is survived by a daughter Shannon Renea (Matt) Dixon of Henry, a son William Bendell(Donna) Ellis of McKenzie, five grandchildren Lorrie (Steven) Vinson, Bethany Ellis, Beverly Dixon, Tiffany Clement( Chris Ellis) and Eli Dixon and three great-grandchildren Emily Clement, Savannah Vinson and Jackson Vinson.
