Wayne Carlton Seavers

   Funeral Services for Wayne Carlton Seavers will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Huntingdon. Brothers Bryan Oaks and Philip Halter will officiate. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2016 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Mr. Seavers, 71, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 at his residence. He was an employee of DuPont in Nashville and a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Huntingdon. He was born May 4, 1944 in Lavinia, TN to Clifton and Anne Ingram Seavers. He was preceded in death by his father, son Ron Seavers and sister Diane Woodard.   He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years Carolyn Bennett Seavers of McKenzie, daughter Terri(Joe) Norval of Bruceton, mother Anne Seavers of Trezevant, three sisters Scarlett(Don) Barger, Brenda Hinson and Amy (Tim) Ellington all of Trezevant, four grandchildren Dereck (Amber) Seavers, Kayla (Matthew) Chandler, Kyle Seavers, and Delaina Norval and four great-grandchildren Kendall, Graham, Averie and Macie.
