Judy Karan Kennon

MCKENZIE - Judy Karan Kennon, 74, died peacefully in her sleep on January 1, 2016 in Jackson, Tenn.  She was born in McKenzie, TN on October 22, 1941 and is predeceased  by her parents Rebecca Estene Kennon and William Woodrow Kennon.  Judy is survived by her sister, Kaye Bredehorst (Kurt) of Vienna, Virginia., and brother Terry Kennon (Anne) of Dallas, Texas., three nieces, Lisa Hogle, Laura Dupont, and Kelly Kennon, and one nephew, Eric Bredehorst, five great nephews, two great nieces, and many cherished cousins. Judy graduated from McKenzie High School in 1959 and worked for GE in Memphis.  After retirement from GE, Judy returned to McKenzie where she was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of McKenzie and taught Sunday School for a time.  Judy had most recently resided at Elmcroft Senior Living in Jackson. According to her wishes, Judy will be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held for her at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of McKenzie, 16 N.
