Curtis Melvin Pugh, Jr.

Dateline: McKenzie, TN   Memorial funeral services for Curtis Melvin Pugh, Jr., 61, will be held Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 4:00 pm at the McKenzie First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jason Jones officiating.  Cremation was chosen by the family.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 3:00 pm until service time.  Mr. Pugh, a maintenance technician, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at his residence.  He was born on October 21, 1954 in McKenzie, TN to Curtis Melvin and Louise Washburn Pugh. He was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Melvin Pugh, Sr. and a brother John Grey Pugh.    Survivors include his wife of 14 years Mary Evelyn Beckham Pugh of McKenzie, three daughters Erica (Chance) Hudgins, Jamie (Bryan) Barker and Amanda (Brian) Prather all of McKenzie, his mother Louise Washburn Moore of Eva, TN and four grandchildren.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
