Dateline: Greenfield, TN Services for Juanita “Maw Maw” Rhea McDaniel, 72, will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Doug Powell officiating. Interment will follow at New Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2016 after 11:00 am until service time. Mrs. McDaniel, a homemaker and associate of Pope’s Concessions in Greenfield, TN, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Jackson Regional Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1943 in Assumption, Illinois to Frank Howard and Clyda Rhea Reynolds McCarty. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie, a graduate of Liberty University with a degree in Biblical Science. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Arlene Barnes, a sister Patricia Cox, two brothers Roy Gene Campbell and Murell McCarty. Survivors include her husband Freddie Lee McDaniel, Sr. of Greenfield, two daughters Sue Barnes of McKenzie and Frances Kay McDaniel of Clarksville, TN, a son Freddie Lee (Lynn) McDaniel, Jr. of McKenzie, a sister Marty (Terry) Sloan of Atlanta, Illinois, a brother George Howard (Ruth) McCarty of Peru, Indiana, seven grandchildren: Jenna Kay, Brittany Lee, Dustin Eugene, Derek Alvin, Travis Lee, Devin Rhea, and Jazlyn Nicole, and ten great grandchildren. Pallbearers to serve will be: James Ray Pope, Joseph Pope, David Lee Galvin, Terry Galvin, Charles Sloan, and David Sloan. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
