Dateline: Trezevant, TN Services for Ollie Bell Taylor, 85, will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home in McKenzie with Reverend Sylvia Newman officiating. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Christmasville, TN. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 11. 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 10:00 am until service time. Mrs. Taylor, a sewing machine operator and seamstress for Henry I. Siegel (HIS) in Trezevant for 42 years, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Houston, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1930 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to Henry and Pearlie Floyd Edwards. She was a member of Trezevant First United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred Taylor who died in 1998, four sisters Earline Burnine, Ruby Payne, Ethel Mae Jones, and Onnie Sue Burnine, four brothers Jessie Edwards, Wilson Edwards, Raymond Edwards, and Vernon Edwards. Survivors include four daughters Peggy Lawrence and Sandra (Frank) Maher of Houston, Texas, Nancy (Jerry) Reeder and Shelia (Willie) Lowe of McKenzie, two sons Randy (Melody) Long of Paris, TN, Jimmy (Stephanie) Taylor of Indiana, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren . Pallbearers who will be serving will be Zach Maher, Ryan Long, Hunter Long, Michael Lowe, Terry Reeder, Tyler Reeder, Darren Reeder, and Joshua Lawrence Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
