Gary Lee Davis

Dateline: McKenzie, TN   Graveside funeral services for Gary Lee Davis, 57, will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Rosedale Cemetery in Pembroke, Kentucky.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 just before the service time at the cemetery.  Mr. Davis, disabled from birth, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at McKenzie Health Care Center in McKenzie.  He was born on April 9, 1958 in Hopkinsville, KY to S.W. “Doug” and Wanda Sowell Davis. He was given six months to live with his twin brother dying the next day after their birth, his mother cared for him her life time when he became a resident of the Huntingdon Health and Rehab in Huntingdon, TN then he was transferred to the McKenzie Health Care Center as being one of the first residents of this new center.  He was always noted as listening to his radio keeping up with happenings of the community.  He was preceded in death by his twin brother Terry and his parents.    Survivors include his brothers Steven (Glenda) Davis of Dickson, TN and Jackie (Judy) Davis of Springville, TN.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements in McKenzie and Maddux Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY handling arrangements in Pembroke.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
