Ray A. Lemonds

Dateline: McKenzie,TN   Services for Ray Alden Lemonds, 82, will be held Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Brothers Alan Trull and Dennis Trull will officiate. Mr. Lemonds, retired form Methodist Hospital McKenzie as supervisor of maintenance, housekeeping and laundry. He was a member of First Baptist Church and an Army Veteran. Mr. Lemonds died Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born on February 20, 1934 in Weakley Co, TN to Leland and Ruby Gooch Lemonds. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Kenneth Lemonds.   Survivors include his wife Martha Lemonds of McKenzie, two daughters Sandra Gill of Cordova and Debra (Mark) Nelson of Rome, GA, two sisters Julia Fowler of Gleason and Marjorie Soper of McKenzie, two grandchildren Chris Oglesby and Andrea Gill, two step-grandchildren Pam Shomaker and Mark Nelson,JR, and five great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Nevaeh, Emma, Lisa and Luke.
