James Ray Chadwick

Dateline: McKenzie,TN   Services for James Ray “Jimmy” Chadwick, 73, will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Brothers Dennis Trull and Paul Veasey will officiate. Interment will be at Carroll Memorial Gardens.   Mr. Chadwick, owner of McKenzie Oil service station, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at his nephew’s home. He was a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie, U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association. He was born on November 11, 1942 in Dresden, TN to Joseph Edwin and Violet “Dolly” Wenzlaff Chadwick. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Stokes and brother William Chadwick.   Survivors include his daughter Lisa Chadwick Solinger of McKenzie, one sister Joann Wolfe of Pennsylvania, two brothers Joe(Patsy) Chadwick of Jackson and Steve (Kelley) Chadwick of Paris and two grandchildren Kayla Boaz and Stefan Solinger   Brummitt – McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
