Doris Evelyn Griffin

  Dateline: Trezevant, TN   Services for Doris Evelyn Griffin, 86, will be held Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt Funeral Home in Trezevant with Reverends Sylvia Newman and James Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery near Christmasville, TN.  The family will receive friends on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 12 noon until service time.  Mrs. Griffin, a Seamstress for Henry I. Siegel (HIS) in Trezevant, died Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  She was born on July 10, 1929 in Atwood, TN to Grover and Bertha Boyd Jennings. She was a member of Atwood United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband R.J. Griffin who died October 29, 2011, a sister Thelma Seavers, and two brothers Boyd Jennings and Grover Jennings.    Survivors include her son Ronnie (Alesia) Griffin of Trezevant, TN, two granddaughters Erin (Kevin) Ramsey of Trezevant and Amber (Dusty) Campbell of Milan, three great grandchildren Ashton Campbell, Brooklynn Campbell and Emmitt Ramsey.   Pallbearers serving will be Kevin Ramsey, Dusty Campbell, Kyle Jennings, Vernon Dowland, Dwayne Jennings and C.B.
