Evora Reaves Burnine

Dateline: McKenzie,TN   Funeral services for Evora Reaves Burnine will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.   Mrs. Burnine, 84, died at McKenzie Health Care on Monday, May 30, 2016. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Greenfield she retired from Brown Shoe Company. Mrs. Burnine was born May 4, 1932 in Carroll Co., TN to James Lynn and Ruth Tegethoff Reaves. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Lottie Ruth Taylor and Rachel Reaves.   Mrs. Burnine was survived by her husband Willis “Bill” Burnine of McKenzie, one daughter Cynthia Rimmer of McKenzie, five sons Willis (Linda) Burnine, Jr of Gleason, Dan (Debbie) Burnine, Randy Burnine, Joel Burnine and Sam (Laura) Burnine all from McKenzie, one sister Ethel Sue Cary of McKenzie, one brother Lyndale Reaves of Texas, eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
