Dateline: McKenzie,TN   Funeral services for Barbara Dean Blackburn will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt- McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother John Forgy will officiate. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 12:00 p.m. until service time.   Mrs. Blackburn, 87, owner of the former Jean Shoppe clothing store, died at her residence on Friday, July 1, 2016. She was a member of McKenzie Church of ChristHuntingdoHuntHuntin. Mrs. Blackburn was born July 2, 1928 in Gleason, TN to McKinley and Loreda Spence Hopper. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Boyd H. Blackburn, Jr, a twin sister Valda Olds and a brother Mazon Hopper.   She is survived by a son Greg Blackburn of McKenzie, brother Jerry (Carol Jean) Hopper of McKenzie, step-grandson Craig (Amy) Darnell, and four step-great grandchildren Isaac, Allie, Ethan and Evan.
