Funeral services for William Porter Dunlap will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. and visitation on Wednesday will be at 10:00 a.m. until service time. All visitations will be held at McKenzie Church of Christ. Mr. Dunlap, 83, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Saturday, July 16, 2016. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor, he also was a HCR mail route carrier, janitor at the Church of Christ and owner of Lulu Belle’s Florist. Mr. Dunlap was a member of the McKenzie Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and was also a Korean War Army Veteran. He was born January 8, 1933 in Gleason, TN to William Otis and Marie Porter Rushing Dunlap. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Iona Clanton Dunlap of McKenzie, daughter Stacie (Greg) Browning of Gleason, son Shannon(Janine) Dunlap of Jackson, sister Rushlene McDermott of Warner Robbins, GA, brother Jerry Dunlap of Gleason and four grandchildren, Jeremy(Sara) Dunlap, Adam Dunlap, Tori Browning and Kori Browning
