Ruby Nell Dotson

  Dateline: Jackson, TN formerly of McKenzie, TN   Services for Ruby Nell Dotson, 81, will be held Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Fred Morris officiating.  Interment will follow at New Valley Cemetery near Gleason.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 12 noon until service time at 1:00 pm.  Mrs. Dotson, a retired Supervisor over Housekeeper for Hilton Hotels, died Thursday, July 21, 2016 at West Tennessee Transitional Care in Jackson.  She was born on March 6, 1935 in Gleason, TN to Charlie and Lula Page Owen. She was a member of the now closed Miller Road Bible Church in Lansing, Michigan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Darwin Morgan, her husband Brother James Calvin Dotson who died April 2, 2010, her sisters Adele Winstead and Mamie Cuppernell, her brothers Eulus Wade Owen, Raymond Owen, and Page Junior Owen.    Survivors include a son Randal Morgan of Lansing, MI, a brother Doyle (Rosemary) Owen of Copley, Ohio and two granddaughters Kelly Morgan and Sabrina Lansdon both of Michigan, four great grandchildren Tyler Lansdon, Austyn Lansdon, Robert Morgan, Justin Faust, II,   two sisters in law Ruth Owen of McKenzie and "Pete" Owen of Oklahoma .    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
