Thomas Jason Hampton

Dateline: Pensacola, Florida   Services for Thomas Jason Hampton, 44, will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at Republican Grove Baptist Church in Trezevant with Brother Bobby Conley officiating.  Interment will follow at Republican Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4 from 9:00 am until service time at the church.  Mr. Hampton, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Houston, Texas.  He was born on October 2, 1971 in Charleston, South Carolina to Thomas and Joyce Hatley Hampton, with Mrs. Hampton being raised in the Trezevant community. He was Baptist in faith, and an U.S. Army Desert Storm veteran of the Persian Gulf War.   Survivors include his parents Thomas and Joyce Hampton of Pensacola, FL, his fiancée Ruth Albright of Pensacola, FL, three daughters Elizabeth Hampton and Rebecca Hampton both of Murfreesboro, TN, Charity Hampton of Plant City, FL, four sons John Browning of Pensacola, FL, Noland Hampton of Loudon, TN, David Hampton of Pensacola, FL, and Clayton Hampton of Plant City, FL, and a sister Cheree Smith of Pensacola, FL.   Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
