Wesley Wade Franklin

Dateline: McKenzie, TN   Services for Wesley Wade Franklin, 49, will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Roger Wallace officiating.  Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery near Cottage Grove in Henry County.  The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 11:00 am until service time.  Mr. Franklin, a supervisor, welder and pipefitter, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the McKenzie Health Care Center.  He was born on April 1, 1967 in Kirbyville, Texas to Wesley Everritt and Lanny Joe Wagenfuler Franklin. He was a member of Paris Community Bible Church, he was a Honorable Discharged member of the Texas Army National Guard and was an avid hunter.  He was preceded in death by his father.    Survivors include his wife of 17 years Jane Hatcher Franklin of McKenzie, a step daughter Deanna Clements, two step-sons Adam Hickman and Ryan Hickman all of McKenzie, his mother and step-father Jodie and Scott Snow of Cottage Grove, two sisters Amber (Cary) Marter and Melody (Gary) Coleman of Cottage Grove, and a granddaughter.   Pallbearers serving will be Terry Burlison, Billy Webb, Scott Snow, Charles Sagely, Cary Marter, and Luke McDade   Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
