Linda Iown Townes

Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee   Services for Linda Iown Townes, 68, will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Kenny Carr officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 12 noon until service time.  Miss Townes, died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.  She was born on October 6, 1948 in McKenzie, Tennessee to James Edward and Agnes Iown Moore Townes.  She was preceded in death by her parents.    Survivors include Three sisters Shirley Carter of McKenzie, Bettye (Billy) Black of Greenfield, Gail (Donald) Higdon of McKenzie, four brothers James Larry Townes of Greenfield, Terry (Brenda) Townes of Trezevant, Gary (Sherry) Townes and Billy Townes all of McKenzie.   Pallbearers who will be serving will be Dylan Nolin, Chance Townes, Marty Townes, Talor Townes, Tanner Townes, Colby Bruce, and Tyler Bruce.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
