Frank Richard Moore

Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee   Services for Frank Richard Moore, 88, will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Dennis Trull officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 11:00 am until service time.  Mr. Moore, a retired factory employee having worked for Wilker Brothers Pajama Factory in McKenzie and Conalco Aluminum Plant in New Johnsonville, TN, died Monday, March 20, 2017 at his residence.  He was born on July 31, 1928 in McKenzie, TN to Ed R. and Mallie Brewer Moore. He was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church, served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, and was a member of several local bands playing the guitar.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years Annie Elizabeth Delaney Moore who died in 2001 and three sisters Agnes Townes, Thelma Sexton, and Louise Swearingen.    Survivors include three daughters Dianne Long of McKenzie, Kathy (Roy) Davis of Milledgeville, TN, and Vickie (Billy Mac) Rich of Huntingdon, TN, three grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.    Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
