Dateline: McKenzie, TN  A memorial service for Virginia G. Hooton is Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. Brother Jim Roberts will officiate. Visitation is Thursday, May 18, 2017, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Mrs. Hooton, 86, a homemaker and a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at McKenzie Health Care Center. She was born February 2, 1931 in McKenzie, TN to Paul and Juanita Brogdon Brawner. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Joyce Chapman and Barbara Montgomery and brother Frank Brawner.  Survivors include her husband of 65 years, James Richard Hooton, Sr of McKenzie, two daughters Ginny Webster of Bryant, AR and Cynthia (Phillip) Wills of Franklin, TN, a  son Dickie (Leigh) Hooton of Benton, AR,  a sister Melba Summers of McKenzie, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
