Jimmy Dean Wainscott

Dateline: Henry, TN   Services for Jimmy Dean Wainscott, 74, will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Gene Price officiating.  Interment will follow at Tumbling Creek Cemetery near Gleason with U.S. Navy Military Honors.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 10:30 am until service time.  Mr. Wainscott, retired from the U.S. Navy, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at Henry County Healthcare in Paris.  He was born on May 28, 1943 in Memphis, TN to James L. and Raydeane Brown Wainscott. He attended Tumbling Creek Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy with almost 21 years during the Vietnam War.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Rick Wainscott.    Survivors include a daughter Lindsey Leanne Wainscott of Camden, TN, three brothers Jerry Wainscott of McKenzie, Ben Wainscott of Paris, TN, Tom Wainscott of Iowa, and three grandchildren. .  Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
