James Thomas (JT) Rogers

Dateline: Trezevant, TN          Funeral Services for James Thomas (JT) Rogers, 73 is Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trezevant Church of Christ. Internment is at Trezevant Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2017 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.   Mr. Rogers, died December 7, 2017 at his residence. He retired after forty one years with Carroll County Electric Department as an Assistant System Planner. He was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ, a pilot, magician, and a member of the Armored Division National Guard and he also played on the Grand Old Opry. He was born August 9, 1944 in McKenzie, TN to James Louis and Mary Frances Wilson Rogers. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Glenda Carol Utley Rogers and a grandson Jay Rogers.   Survivors include his daughter Jana Rogers Blount of Trezevant and Tim (Wendy) Rogers of Trezevant, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
