Virginia Marie Gillenwater

Dateline: MT. Juliet, TN          Graveside services for Virginia Marie Hickerson Gillenwater, will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Carroll Memorial Gardens.   Mrs. Gillenwater, 93, died January 22, 2018 at MT. Juliet Health Care Center. She is a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church McKenzie. She was born October 29, 1924, in McKenzie to Benjamin B. and Nova Nell Barksdale Hickerson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles E. Gillenwater, Sr., two sisters Evelyn King and Emily Hickerson and one brother James Edward Hickerson.   Survivors include her sons Charles E. Gillenwater, Jr of San Francisco, CA and Phil (Chris) Gillenwater of Mt. Juliet, and two grandchildren.
