Donald "Duck" Kay Beasley

Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee   Services for Donald “Duck” Kay Beasley, 65, will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Pastor James Radford officiating.  Interment will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery near Obion in Obion County.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 11:00 am until service time.  Mr. Beasley, a retired farmer from the Obion County area, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his residence in McKenzie.  He was born on January 5, 1953 in Union City, Tennessee to Loyd William and Altie Juanita Tuck Beasley. He was a member of the Freedom Independence Full Gospel Church that was once in McKenzie.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Janice Robinson and Connie Beasley, a brother Paul David Beasley and a step son John Henry Knight.    Survivors include his wife Nancy Ann Matheny Beasley of McKenzie who he married on January 25, 2018, his daughter Latasha Casey of McKenzie, his son Donnie (Jessica) Beasley of Union City, TN, a sister Peggy (David) Johnson of Polk Station, TN, a brother James (Karen) Beasley of Hornbeak, TN, 26 grandchildren, and a great granddaughter Kristian Ray Jean Hoppers.  Mr. Beasley also leaves several adoptive children: Stacy Flippin, Anthony Roberts, Tina Deaton and Tammy Stone all of McKenzie, Amanda (Billy) Barber and Kami Hilliard all of Huntingdon, Randi (Brett) LuHellier of Paris, Jeremy Ricketts of Greenfield, Brandon White of Milan, and Toni Smith of Union City.    Pallbearers who will be serving are: Jeremy Ricketts, Brandon White, Jon Pickard, Dennis Ricketts, Brandon Flippin, and Randy Cody.  Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Levi Blakeman and Kalebp Cody.   Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
