Dateline: Trezevant, TN formerly of Paris, TN          Funeral service for Ann Gertrude Hewitt is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Brummitt – McKenzie Funeral Home. Brother Wray Forrest is officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 4, 2018 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment is Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Mound Cemetery, Georgetown, IL.   Mrs. Hewitt, 89, worked for Tecumseh, and also as a cashier at Wal Mart, Paris, died March 31 2018 at Northbrook Healthcare and Rehab, Jackson. She was born in Effingham, IL on July 8, 1928, to Clarence and Jennie McNary Craig. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne Hewitt, daughters Beverly McKinney and Cheryl Hewitt, two sisters Fern Carpenter and Fhoebe Miller and two brothers Ira Craig and Dean Craig.   Survivors include her daughters Dianna (Bob) Kilpatrick of Kansas City, MO, and Karen (Rick) Forrest of Trezevant, five grandchildren Diane ( Angel) Oryall of Harrisonville, MO, Richard Edmiston of Belton, MO, Chad McKinney of Champaign, IL, Jason McKinney of Chatanooga,TN and Brian Forrest of Atwood, TN, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
