John "Bobby" Robert Gaskins

Dateline: McKenzie,TN          Funeral service for John Robert “Bobby” Gaskins is 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Brummitt – McKenzie Funeral Home. Reverends Garrett Burns and Tyler Lindsay will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Shiloh Cemetery, McKenzie.   Mr. Gaskins, 82, a livestock farmer, truck driver for the post office and real estate agent, died April 2, 2018 at Henry County Medical Center. He was born in McKenzie on February 18, 1936, to John and Nina Bouldin-Breedlove Gaskins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Barbara Miller Gaskins and a sister Ruth Gaskins.   Survivors include his sister, Janice (Jim) Jarvis of Nashville , two nieces Janith Wav (Mike) Garman and Nina Kimberle Jarvis, a great niece Sophia Garman, four step children Russ, Walt, Bill and Ann Miller, several grandchildren including Cammie Hoffman and Lauren Johnson and special friends Eddie “Squeaky” and Kim Moss and Elaine Crocker.   Pallbears serving for Mr. Gaskins funeral are Eddie “Squeaky” Moss, Kim Moss, Scott York, Taylor Estes, Steve Baker and Barry Summers. Honorary Pallbearer is Paula T. Doster.
