Hugh Moore

  Dateline: McKenzie, Tennessee   Services for Hugh Moore, 61, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 12:00 pm noon at Thyatira Church of Christ 173 Thyatira-Tyro Road Senatobia, Mississippi with Pastor Gary Young officiating.  Interment will follow at Carter Memorial Gardens on Aiken Road Senatobia, Mississippi.  The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Thyatira Church of Christ from 11:00 am until 12 noon and the start of services.  Mr. Moore, a contractor and employee for Champion Homes in Dresden, died Monday, June 18, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.  He was born on April 7, 1957 in in Tate, Mississippi to Earlean Moore. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Chicago, Illinois enjoyed roller skating, fishing and playing horse shoes.  He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister Maple Moore.    Survivors include his wife of 18 years Carol Rogers Moore, his children, Demetrio Demonbreun, Keshania (Sam) Tillman, Tanisha (Justin) McCreary, Keesha (Rodney) Johnson, Tamika (David) Davis, Kenya Simmons, Tajuana (Eric) Clark, his sister Kay Moore, 15 grandchildren, his niece Angelia Bailey Reed and nephews Ken Reed, Mark Reed, and Aaron Reed.   Pallbearers who will be serving are Marvell Moore, Tony Rowley, Frank Moore, Nabors Moore, Steve Moore and Calvin Jones   The repass will follow the committal service at Thyatira Church of Christ Family Center.   Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
