Shirley Bookout Vaughn

Dateline McKenzie, TN   Graveside service for Shirley Jane Bookout Vaughn, 69, will be Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie. Brother Randy Moore will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.   Mrs. Vaughn, a retired cashier for Dollar General, died July 22, 2018 at Christian Care Center. She was born February 14, 1949 in McKenzie to Buford and Melba Trevathan Bookout. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Janette Harrington.   She is survived by her daughter Natalie Vaughn of McKenzie and son Doug Vaughn of McKenzie, and two brothers Gary (Brenda) Bookout and Larry Bookout both of McKenzie and one grandson Keelan Sneed.
